There is also a sad dearth of specialty centers which cater to such patients who need a series of treatment procedures to bring them to a state of normalcy. With the help of a multi-specialty approach, the treatment itself could span months or years before complete rehabilitation is achieved.

          It is in view of this that the Sumukha Foundation was formed in 2007 to provide the best of care without compromising on quality. The aim is to reach patients who, due to their socio-economic circumstances, cannot afford such treatment.
